- 1 Qt sliced fresh peaches or strawberries
- Water – ½ C for peaches – ¼ C for strawberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 T cornstarch
- 1 T Lemon Juice
- 1 T butter
- Pinch of salt
- Baked 9” pie shell
- Whipped Cream
- Mix fruit and water in a saucepan
- Combine sugar and cornstarch and add to the fruit mixture.
- Cook or a medium heat until thick
- Add lemon juice, butter and salt.
- Arrange remaining fruit in cooled pie shell.
- Pour cooled glaze over.
- Top with whipped cream and a few fruit slices.
